New SIM Interposer promises to unlock iPhone on 4S 1.0.11, 1.0.13 And 1.0.14 Basebands

Apple has brought its latest iPhone to many more new carriers than it did the years before, making unlocking not as important as it once was. However, spending $650 on an unlocked iPhone 4S may not be an option for everyone, so there are a few alternatives…

A team of hackers named ChinaSnow Dev Team has created a new SIM Interposer that supposedly enables users to perform a hardware-based unlock to their iPhones. The new “TPSIM unlock” method is similar to the Gevey SIM, and supports a number of different basebands for both the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S...

Features of the new TPSIM unlock include:

-No jailbreak necessary, plug and play!
-No need to dial 112 after activation
-Supports 3G, EDGE, MMS, and FaceTime
    -Supports iPhone 4S baseband 1.0.11, 1.0.13 and 1.0.14.
    -Supports iPhone 4 baseband 1.59.00, 2.10.04, 3.10.01, 4.10.01
-No hardware modding necessary, won’t affect your warranty
-Robust and sturdy steal custom SIM tray
-Unlock works on all world networks
-Uses high performance original F981 chip for ultra-low power consumption

You can pre-order the TPSIM unlock from the ChinaSnow Dev Team for $84.95. The hackers expect the product to be ready for shipment sometime later this month.

We can’t confirm how legit this method of unlocking is yet, so we don't recommend ordering just yet. But we will surely let you know as soon as it’s made available. Stay tuned folks!

We may want to go again after the 4.1 firmware to move again to 4.0. Be careful the baseband will remain modified so they are not jailbroke yet.
